The Highbrow Cabin is large enough for most groups, but cozy enough for you and your honey. It has a majestic loft overlooking Lake Superior with a king size bed. On the first floor is another spacious bedroom with two twin beds that can be joined to make a king. Downstairs is the third bedroom with another two twin beds that can be made into a king. Finally, the great room has a comfy futon that can be pulled into another bed. It sleeps six to eight total. The Highbrow Cabin has two and a half nice, clean bathrooms.
The Highbrow Cabin is perfect for the foodie in your group, as it offers a Viking stove and all the best knives and cookware one could need. For your rainy days or quiet nights enjoy the rec room outfitted with a 52 inch HDTV with Satellite Service, DVD library, foosball table, dart board and board game library.
Other amenities include a propane lit charcoal grill, cozy fire pit with lovely chairs – perfect for making smores and watching the stars, a three season porch with an electric start stove, a basketball hoop and bean bag toss game, and a paved driveway for easy winter access.
The Highbrow Cabin is located just 3.5 miles from the entrance to Tettegouche State Park, a gem of the North Shore with extensive hiking trails! It is conveniently close to Silver Bay where guests will find a grocery store, liquor store, DVD rentals, and restaurants. Just 3.5 hours from the Twin Cities, or 1 hour from Duluth, The Highbrow Cabin is a half hour away from Lutsen Mountain and Superior National Golf Course.
